CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
With the aim of deeply and widely familiarize with the work of the electoral system, in accordance with the joint approved program between the Academy of Civil Service and the Central Commission for holding elections and referendums in Turkmenistan, on March 28, the Central Election Commission held the production experience of students in the specialty " Professional development of employees of local executive powers and local powers" of the Academy of Civil Service.
Specialists of the Central Election Commission presented to the students of the Academy of Civil Service in detail about what the Central Election Commission and local election commissions do for preparation and organization of one of the most important socio-political event of the country, elections in the respective constituencies instead of the retired deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, city Halk maslahaty and Gengeshes, which will be held on the last Sunday of March 2019, in year of "Turkmenistan - Home of Prosperity!", as well as about the responsibilities of the election commissions, the structure, the electoral system, international experience, about amendments and additions in the electoral legislation.
It should be noted that among the students who used the conditions for advanced training created by the Esteemed President, employees of various professions from the velyats of the country and the Ashgabat city, there are people working in various positions of local executive powers and local self-governments. During the training, students got detailed answers to their questions regarding the electoral system and electoral legislation. In the Central Election Commission, such classes have been held many times.
