CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
December 24, 2016 was held the meeting of the Central Commission for holding Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan, and was registered as a candidate for President of Turkmenistan put forward by the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan on Presidential elections of Turkmenistan to be held February 12.2017, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Myalikgulyevich.
The event was attended by members of the Central Electoral Commission and the chairman of the Political Council of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan. The registration of candidates will last from December 24, 2016 by January 17, 2017.
