CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
The meeting of the electorate of Balkan Velayat with the candidate for the post of the President of Turkmenistan – Deputy Chairman of the State Association of Food Industry Maksat Annanepesov took place in Balkanabat. The meeting was held in Saparmurat Turkmenbashy State Drama Theatre, where leaders of local administration, personnel of enterprises and farmer’s associations, honoured elders, representatives of non-government organizations, mass media and youth have gathered.
The participants of the meeting was familiarized with working biography, personal and business features of the candidate, who was nominated by the initiative group of the citizens. The Authorized representative characterized M. Annnanepesov as deserving, honour and competent individual with good organization skills and active civil stance.
After, the candidate for the post of the President of the country made a speech. Defining his election programme, M. Annanepesov outlined number of important objectives, which solution is summoned to provide further dynamic development of Turkmenistan and improvement of wellbeing of the people. First of all, this is the intensification of industrial development of the regions, diversification of the industry, consolidation of production potential of oil, gas and other branches, construction of modern plants and factories, etc.
Special attention in the candidate’s speech was paid to the issues of agricultural complex. There are improvement of facilities and equipment base of the agriculture, formation of new productive solutions, transferring the lands to their genuine owners – the farmers, further improvement of their social and living conditions, establishment and support of farmer’s associations specialized in crop production, hothouse farms and others. Generally, all of these is summoned to provide food abundance in the country, growth of production volumes of various agricultural products.
Answering numerous questions of the participants, M. Annanepesov explained in details some provisions of his election campaign.
