CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
As you know, on October 20-21, 2022, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a good neighbor of Turkmenistan, paid a two-day official visit to our country.
During the visit high-level talks were held between the President of Turkmenistan and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the talks held in the atmosphere of mutual trust, the Presidents exchanged views on the main issues of turkmen-uzbek relations, taking into account new opportunities and priority plans for the future.
Also, during the visit the meeting of the President of Uzbekistan with the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, with our Hero Arkadag, became a proof of the high level of attention paid to the parliamentary relations between the two countries.
In addition, on 21st of October with the participation of the Heads of state of two countries held the opening ceremony of "Dashkent" park located in the beautiful corner of Ashgabat.
Also, within the framework of the opening ceremony, the Heads of state of two countries participated in the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Turkmen-uzbek border trade zone - Trade center located in the territory of Dashoguz velayat through the telebridge.
The official visit of the Uzbek Leader to Turkmenistan this time will also be an important basis for the further strengthening of the long-term turkmen-uzbek relations.
