CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
On March 26, 2023, in the elections of deputies of Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of velayat, etrap, city halk maslahats and Gengeshes ample opportunities are created to ensure the rights of our citizens to participate in the elections. All conditions are provided for voters to vote at the polling stations.
In accordance with article 73 of the Election code of Turkmenistan, the early voting began on March 16, 2023.
Early voting in the polling stations is held from 08:00 to 18:00 every day.
Citizens with the right to vote who cannot be at their place of residence on the elections day and are included in the voter's list in the relevant polling station can vote at the polling station ten days before the elections day!
As you know, these activities are primarily intended for citizens who are going on a long-term business trip or vacation, as well as those who cannot come to their polling station and vote on the elections day - March 26 for any reason.
Also, all conditions have been created to ensure the rights of the voters for voting in advance in the polling stations established near the diplomatic missions and consulates of Turkmenistan abroad.
