CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
In the House of Culture in Anau town of Akhal velayat there was the meeting with voters of the candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan - Meretdurdy Gurbanov deputy khyakim of Dashoguz velayat. The meeting was attended by the elders, youth, representatives of labor collectives and public.
The trustee of the candidate familiarized participants with the biography and personal and professional qualities of M.Gurbanov nominated by the initiative group of citizens and described him as an honest, responsible and competent manager.
M.Gurbanov among the priorities of his program noted the strengthening of the democratic foundations, the international authority of the state, economic development, improving people's welfare, strengthening of social stability and law and order, development of science, education and the unique culture of the Turkmen people. Attention was paid to the prospects of housing, beautification of cities and villages of the country, population employment, reforming of the agricultural sector.
The candidate answered to questions from the audience about prospects of development of branches of the national economy, the implementation of programs in public health, education, water supply improvement.
