CENTRAL COMMISSION FOR HOLDING ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS IN TURKMENISTAN
Under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, significant dates and holidays in our Motherland are celebrated at a high organizational level, joyfully and enthusiastically.
In fact, New Year – is a family holiday. The New Year, which ushered us into the future with new dreams, wishes and goals, joyfully celebrated in every home. The solemn celebration of this holiday, when all family members gather around the table – is a wonderful example of unity. The fact that the holiday table is decorated with a variety of cates is considered an indicator of prosperity and prosperous life.
The year 2025, under the motto “International Year of Peace and Trust” during in the era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state and written in golden letters into the glorious history of our Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan. In 2025, under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar enormous work was accomplished to ensure the country’s stable socio-economic development. The high indicators achieved in all areas of the national economy testify to the positive results of the fundamental reforms being implemented in the country.
Of course, during this historic year, positive results were also achieved in the electoral system. In this regard, it is worth noting the adoption of the Law of Turkmenistan “On the Unified State Register of Voters”, as well as the organized implementation of relevant activities within the framework of the United Nations Development Programme Project Document “Assistance in building the capacity of the Central Commission for Holding Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan” for 2024-2025.
Along with the nations of the world, our Motherland Turkmenistan – also welcomed the New Year 2026 with a creative spirit and great progress. During the New Year celebrations, every corner of our country was enveloped in extraordinary beauty. Festive decorations, New Year’s trees installed in the streets and squares, illuminated buildings created a festive atmosphere.
New Year – being one of the most beloved and widely celebrated holidays of the peoples of the world, considered a symbol of new hopes, new beginnings and bright aspirations.
Thanks to Arkadagly Hero Serdar and Hero Arkadag, the new year 2026, which will bring unforgettable happy moments to our united people, will also take its rightful place in the pages of history.
In keeping with established tradition, in accordance with a resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, 2026 was declared the year of “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.”
The Turkmen people entered the New year with great confidence and enthusiasm. In order to cope with the more demanding tasks of the coming year with honor, building on the high achievements of the past year, each of us must work creatively in our place. Because, as our esteemed President wisely noted “The Motherland – is a Motherland only with the people! The State – is a state only with the people!” conscientious work of our people is a reliable guarantee of the success of our bright way of development and progress.
May great deeds, great victories and glorious events accompany our beloved Motherland as it moves swiftly forward, striving for accelerated progress in the New Year 2026, filled with prosperity under our calm and peaceful skies. May this New Year filled with bright dreams, bring everyone’s hopes and dreams to life and may prosperity reign in every family.
